Digitalisation is permanently calling into question our models of state, economy and social order. But our life is not determined by generally given truths, but by how we shape the world, by the way we behave,
work, develop, suffer or dream.
In ALL CREATURES WELCOME we experience, at the events of the largest European hacker association, the Chaos Computer Club, how the hacker culture meets these challenges and what inner contradictions it encounters. Accompanied by the appeal “use hacking as a mindset”, we dive into a documentary adventure game and become part of a utopian community that is as inclusive as it is
challenging. We observe another social model and clear up with the clichés around the world of hackers and nerds.

Filmography

Sandra Trostel is a filmmaker and producer who deals with storytelling in the digital age. Through artistic and scientific debate her work focuses on the analysis of current and future social developments through digitalization and the possibility of participation and co creation. Depending on the project, she uses various media and forms. Her documentaries have been presented at international festivals, in cinema and on television. She also leads workshops and lectures on her work.
