In recent years, public broadcasters have increasingly focused on developing their media libraries and winning back younger target groups. This entails some changes in the narrative styles.
We talk to Marion Böhm, responsible for documentary formats in the ZDF Mediathek, about new freedoms, opportunities and requirements of storytelling

Bio
Marion Böhm joined ZDF directly after her traineeship. There she worked as an editor and head of department in the politics, society and contemporary history department. She has been a format developer at ZDF for five years and supports editorial teams in developing and implementing documentary formats for the ZDFmediathek – especially with regard to target group orientation, formatting and types of production for a streaming audience.
