docfilm42 is growing!
Spring brings more films, more events, more members, more networking and now also more fields of activity.
In a collective thinking and writing process, we have sharpened our profile, written our mission statement and agreed on further activities.
In addition to our curatorial work, we’ve decided to offer digital meetups with specialist topics for docfilm42 members as well as public events on media policy issues.
So now is a good reason for you to benefit from the growing network and new offers for just €42(sic) a year.

Filmmaker Robert Krieg will moderate the discussion with Sabine Rollberg on the topic:
“Commissioning editors at public television – What they were, what they are and what they could be in the future”

We are also curating the short documentary film program at the Superkunstfestival in Lübeck in June for the third year in a row.
Proposals can be submitted until April 15th. If you are interested, send an email to info@docfilm42.de and you will receive initial information about the films we are looking for.

This month, on March 27, our film screening series with documentary works from filmArche, the self-organized film school in Berlin, closes with our last joint doc&talk at 7 pm.
