The “Rote Zora”, a feminist, militant women’s lesbian group in 1970s and 1980s West Germany, was directed against, among other things, everyday violence against women, genetic and reproductive technologies, population policy and international exploitation as expressions of patriarchal domination. Contemporary witnesses from Germany, Latin America, Korea and Italy, a historian and former members of the Red Zora bring their history back to life.
