Dear docfilm42 Community,
Before we take a well-deserved summer break in August, you are cordially invited to another DOC&TALK online on 21 July 2024. War and its devastating effects on civil societies is once again the topic that drives us.
We will be showing “Chronicles of the Middle Ages” by Artem Funk and Kaja Polivaeva, followed by a Q&A. The film tells the story of the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine from the perspective of eyewitnesses.
And two days later, on 23 July 2024, our members will receive exclusive input on successful pitching from filmmaker Sonya Winterberg at the digital regulars’ table.
You can find more information on all events below.
In September, the nationwide documentary film days LETsDOK will continue at full speed. For the third time, docfilm42 is organising the program in Brandenburg (curated by Ira Kormannshaus) and Berlin (curated by Natalie Gravenor, Ole Elfenkemper and Susanne Dzeik). And for the first time, docfilm42 will also be responsible for the regional LETsDOK program in Baden-Württemberg, coordinated and curated by Sabine Willmann.
